• Icarus Umbrellas feature an easy-to-operate sliding system to open, tilt, adjust, and close canopies.
• Canopies rotate 360 degrees, can be raised or lowered, and can be angled in a variety of positions for maximum sun shading and for use as a wind screen.
• All Icarus Umbrellas close horizontally and include custom-fit covers.
• Canopy fabrics are made from 100% solution-dyed acrylic that is weatherproof, mold- and mildew-resistant, and resistant to stains and fading.
• Umbrella frames are lightweight yet sturdy, made from all-weather, anodized aluminum and galvanized steel.
• All Icarus Umbrellas can be embedded into the ground or placed on a mobile base. Base and In-Ground Fitting are sold separately.
• Base and In-Ground Fitting are made from galvanized steel. Base includes removeable wheels.
• Wood detailing on base is crafted from thermo-treated poplar wood and will weather to a beautiful, silvery-grey patina when exposed to the elements.
• Each base includes the pavers required to assemble the umbrella; eight large pavers (15.75″ w x 15.75″ d x 1.5″ h) and four small pavers (11.75″ w x 11.75″ d x 1.5″ h).
• This umbrella is designed to resist winds up to 54 MPH and should be collapsed when not in use.
